A couple of excellent night fishing bass lures are a jig and an eel, and and spinner baits which both work well in the spring and fall months. On nights when there is a full moon the moon will rise exactly at sun set and will stay visible throughout the day and through the night. I have always had my best luck during a full moon. Once the full moon rises every day after the moon will rise a little bit later until you see almost no moon at all when it's in the new moon phase.
